New Jersey Player Claims $1.128 Billion Mega Millions Jackpot

A lucky New Jersey resident has claimed the $1.128 billion Mega Millions jackpot, the New Jersey Lottery announced. The winning ticket was purchased at the ShopRite in Neptune Township.

The jackpot, drawn on March 26, boasted winning numbers of 07, 11, 22, 29, and 38, with the Gold Mega Ball number 04 and a multiplier of 02.

Lottery officials confirmed that the prize marks the fifth-largest jackpot in Mega Millions history, which spans nearly three decades. The winner, who has chosen to remain anonymous, will take home the cash value of the prize—$537.5 million—before state and federal taxes are applied.

“The excitement doesn’t end here,” the Lottery said. “Another significant jackpot is brewing, with Tuesday’s drawing estimated at $944 million, positioning it as the seventh largest in the game’s history.”
