New Jersey Child Care Assistance Program Reopens to All Eligible Applicants

The New Jersey Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) has fully reopened and is now accepting applications from all eligible families statewide.

The program provides childcare subsidies to low- and moderate-income parents who are working or attending school, helping offset the cost of care and improve access to early childhood services.

Due to current funding limitations, individuals enrolled in master’s degree programs are not eligible at this time.

Applicants are advised not to upload documents when submitting their initial application. Instead, local CCAP offices will reach out directly to request any necessary documentation as part of the review process.
Families who have previously created a MyNJHelps account to access benefits such as SNAP can use their existing login credentials to apply.

For assistance, families can schedule an appointment through the LRRC’s online system, call 732-523-1789, or email questions@lrrcenter.org.
