Mystery On The GSP: Passenger Jumps From Car, Killed After Being Struck By Multiple Vehicles

New Jersey State Police are investigating a tragic hit-and-run incident that took place on Friday evening on the Garden State Parkway, leaving one man dead and authorities searching for answers.

The incident occurred at approximately 5:58 PM on February 14th in the southbound express lanes near milepost 112.8 in Middletown Township, Monmouth County.

Officials say that a Honda Pilot was traveling in the express lanes when, under unclear circumstances, the front-seat passenger, identified as 33-year-old Jose Cerda-Estevez of Plainfield, exited the moving vehicle. He was then struck by multiple vehicles, none of which stopped at the scene.

Emergency personnel responded swiftly, but Cerda-Estevez was pronounced dead on site. Investigators have not yet determined what led him to exit the vehicle while it was in motion.

Law enforcement is asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or any events leading up to it to come forward. Witnesses can contact Troop “D” Holmdel Station at (732) 441-4500, and anonymous tips are welcome.

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to determine the circumstances surrounding this tragic loss of life.

This sounds like Uganda, Libya, Yemen and etc,.
We are living in NJ totally relaxed, obviously Mashiach is already here. Maybe we can ask Mashiach to explain, we all assumed that once Mashiach arrives all the wild criminal drivers will disappear and finally our roads will become safe again.

    • Why would you insert Moshiach into this tragic story that happened on a Friday night no less.? While sad and unfortunate, I think we can all agree that we can leave moshiach out of this tragic story..

      • I mean to say that if some of the people who live in our state can be so low and totally ignore a person lying on the road and obviously these people live not so far from us, I can’t imagine that Mashiach already arrived, it is obvious that we truly still need Mashiach, because once he comes you will never read such a story again
