Multiple Patients Injured In Serious MVA On Route 70 And Vermont

Multiple patients sustained injuries, including at least reportedly in serious condition, after a major accident at the intersection of Route 70 and Vermont Avenue in Lakewood on Wednesday night.

Multiple emergency agencies, including Hatzolah, were at the scene, and extrication units were called in to assist with extracting multiple patients from involved vehicles.

Four patients were transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, two of them in critical condition. Hatzolah transported three of those four patients. A fifth patient was brought to Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood.
