The rain in Lakewood wasn’t doing drivers any favors on Monday night, as multiple accidents – including two with overturned vehicles – were reported.
The first overturn occurred at Cedarbridge Ave. and Clover Street, with a second taking place just minutes later at E. 7th and Ramsey Ave.
Initial reports from all of this evening’s accidents say that speed and unsafe turning attempts played a role in the mishaps.
Additionally, a vehicle erupted in flames on Route 70 in Lakewood. As of this writing, firefighters were working to douse the flames.
