MORE INFO: Kidnapping Suspect Caught After Another Incident In Toms River’s Walden Woods

The suspect who was arrested at around 2 AM after attempting to kidnap a teenage Jewish girl in Lakewood, apparently attempted to abduct another woman from the Walden Woods neighborhood in Toms River, as well.

The second incident occurred at approximately 1 AM, when the suspect approached a woman sitting in her vehicle. The woman honked her car’s horn continuously to scare off the suspect and alert her husband.

Meanwhile, Shomrim had obtained surveillance footage of the suspect vehicle, and police were provided that information, assisting them in locating and pursuing it.

A chase ultimately ensued following the Walden Woods incident, ending a short time later at Route 70 and Whitesville when the suspect crashed.
