The Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah of America are calling for a Yom Teshuva and Tefillah today, in light of the many tzaros facing Klal Yisroel.
Numerous awful tragedies have struck the Lakewood community alone over the past few weeks, and the tzaros faces by our brethren in Eretz Yisroel and across the globe are well known.
As part of this Yom Tefillah, there will be Yom Kippur Katan tefillos in BMG’s Bais Yitzchak, Forest, Bais Shalom and Bais Shmuel batei medrashim at 1:35 PM, and another in the Klein-Gestetner bais medrash at 1:45. All other BMG batei medrashim will say Tehillim at 1:30, with regular mincha following.
Numerous shuls and batei medrashim in and around Lakewood will be holding Yom Kippur Katan tefillos, as well.
