A lucky ticket holder in Lakewood is celebrating a significant win in the Mega Millions drawing held this past Friday – that is, if they bothered to check their ticket. According to the New Jersey Lottery, the winning ticket was purchased at the Lucky 2 Convenience Store on Route 70.
The winner successfully matched four numbers and the Mega Ball, with the winning numbers being 3, 18, 27, 40, and 44. The Mega Ball was 19, and the Megaplier was four.
Although the winner did not match all six numbers to claim the estimated $80 million jackpot, they can still walk away with a substantial prize of $40,000.
