The Viznitzer Rebbe arrived in Lakewood on Tuesday, where he will be spending Shabbos Parashas Vayeitzei for the first time since assuming leadership of the Viznitzer chassidus following the passing of his illustrious father, the Yeshu’os Moshe of Viznitz, zt”l.
On Tuesday evening, a mass kabbolas panim was held at the Skverer Shul on West County Line Road, where Rabbonim and Admorim from Lakewood gathered to greet the distinguished guest. The event featured a drasha by the Rebbe, and warm, stirring niggunim sung by the Viznitzer choir.
The highlight of the Rebbe’s visit will be “A Viznitzer Shabbos,” to be held at the Bais Faiga Hall, 350 Courtney Road. The Shabbos will feature tefillos, uplifting tischen filled with divrei Torah and soul-stirring niggunim, providing an unforgettable experience.
