Manchester Township Police Welcomes New Officer Following Academy Honors

The Manchester Township Police Department has announced the addition of Patrolman Carlos A. Belardo to its ranks following his recent graduation from the Ocean County Police Academy. Belardo was part of Basic Police Recruit Class 119 and distinguished himself by earning multiple accolades during his training.

During his time at the academy, Belardo received four awards recognizing his performance in key areas: the High Physical Fitness Award, High Marksmanship Award, High Overall Award, and the James J. Tracey Leadership Award. These honors reflect his proficiency in physical endurance, firearms training, overall academy performance, and leadership abilities.

Belardo will now begin a three-month Field Training Officer (FTO) program, where he will work alongside an experienced officer to further develop his skills before transitioning to solo patrol duties.
