Manchester Police Arrest Suspect In String Of Car Burglaries In Pine Lake Park

An investigation by the Manchester Police Department has led to the arrest of Cody Diaz, a 30-year-old Toms River resident, in connection with a string of vehicle burglaries in the Pine Lake Park neighborhood.

On September 3rd, approximately a dozen incidents were reported, with evidence collected, including video surveillance footage of the suspect. The footage was shared on social media, and a resident came forward the next morning, identifying Diaz as the suspect.

Diaz was found with stolen items, including a bicycle, and was charged with multiple counts of burglary, theft, and receiving stolen property. He is currently being held at Ocean County Jail awaiting a detention hearing.

The police department encourages the community to remain alert and report any suspicious activity. Residents are also reminded to secure their vehicles to prevent further incidents.
