A man was assaulted in downtown Lakewood’s Red Square late motzei shabbos, suffering serious injuries after being stomped in the head.
The Lakewood Police Department cordoned off the area as it launched an investigation into the assault and searched for a suspect.
The victim was treated by Lakewood First Aid before being transported by medics to Jersey Shore University Medical Center for further treatment of his injuries.
