Man Looking Into Jewish and Other Homes in Manchester Arrested

On November 17, 2022 at approximately 8:24am, the Manchester Township Police Department received a call regarding a suspicious male wearing a red flannel and red pants peering into the backyards of numerous residences in the area of Sixth Avenue near Cumberland Boulevard.

Patrolman Joseph Reilly, Patrolman Kyle Rickvalsky, and Patrolman Connor Maliff immediately responded to the area and located a male fitting this description at the corner of Cumberland Boulevard and Broadway Boulevard. An investigative stop was conducted and the male was identified as Ron Carr, age 34, of Manchester, NJ. During the investigation, it was learned that Carr had an outstanding arrest warrant for criminal mischief out of Manchester Township.

Once Carr was advised of his outstanding arrest warrant, he attempted to flee the scene on foot. After a brief foot chase and struggle, the officers successfully placed Carr under arrest. Carr was subsequently transported to the Manchester Township Police Department and charged with fourth-degree Resisting Arrest (by flight). After Carr was booked at the Manchester Township Police Department, he was transported and lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
