A man was charged after throwing urine at Lakewood Police officers last week, the department said in a weekly blotter released Friday. Police said that officers Michael Sheehan, Leonardo Shimonovich, and Julian Guzman were dispatched to a disturbance at 500 Clifton Avenue. James Hinton, 51 years old, from Lakewood, NJ was arrested and charged for the following: Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and Throwing bodily fluids at Police.
Sergeant Caitlyn Kicki and Joseph Rusk assisted in the investigation.

June 23, 2023 – At midnight, Officer Nicholas Cusanelli in the area of Ocean Avenue observed a motor vehicle stopped in the middle of the road blocking the roadway. The officer contacted the driver to advise of the motor vehicle violation. Jose Martinez, 31 years old, from Lakewood, NJ was arrested for DWI. He was charged with the following: DWI, Reckless Driving, Delaying Traffic, Unlicensed Driver, and Open Alcoholic Beverage.
Officers Julian Guzman and Daniel Hourigan assisted in the investigation.
WANTED PERSON
June 24, 2023 – At 6:30 pm, Officers Lukus Wade and Kyle Seehausen were patrolling in the area of Hurley Avenue, and noticed Eduardo Rivera, 60 years old, from Lakewood, NJ from previous police interactions. Dispatched confirmed an active warrant out of Toms River PD and Rivera was arrested brought into headquarters for processing and then released to Toms River PD.
DWI
June 23, 2023 – At 3 pm, Officer Joseph Mandelbaum patrolled the area of Woehr Avenue. The officer observed Laquan Hall, 54 years old, from Lakewood, NJ driving recklessly. He was arrested for DWI and charged with the following: DWI, Reckless, failure to stop sign, and Open Alcoholic Beverage.
