Lakewood police arrested a suspect Wednesday evening after receiving a tip from the community patrol organization Shomrim about three males who appeared to be armed in downtown Lakewood.
Officers responded to the intersection of 2nd and Clifton and confronted the group, initiating a search. During the encounter, police allegedly discovered an illegal BB gun on one of the individuals, leading to an arrest.
The other two males were released at the scene. Additional details about the suspect and circumstances of the arrest were not immediately available.
