Man Arrested After Spotted By Shomrim Wielding Large Knife

During a power outage in Lakewood’s downtown on Friday night, Lakewood Shomrim Shabbos patrol members noticed a suspicious-looking male subject.

Keeping a close eye on him, our members observed him carrying a large knife as he walked the streets. Lakewood Police were called to the area and the knife was secured by Shomrim members as police investigated.

The subject was ultimately placed under arrest by police officers.

Lakewood Shomrim extends its thanks to the Lakewood Police Department for their swift response to this situation and their professionalism in bringing the incident to a safe resolution.
