I wish I could say this was an April Fools’ Day joke. But it’s not.
As we enter a crucial election season in New Jersey — especially here in Lakewood — we are already seeing the signs of a campaign built on confusion, division, and distraction. The Democrats are preparing a media assault, complete with carefully edited videos, humorous clips, and “informational” pieces that blur the line between truth and fiction.
These videos may be funny. They may be clever. But they are designed to do one thing: divide us.
Even lifelong liberal voters are beginning to feel uneasy. In recent days, we’ve witnessed Democratic candidates make moves that should concern every thinking voter — regardless of political affiliation. Their policies, their rhetoric, and their disregard for communities like ours reveal what we’ve known for a long time: the Democratic Party is not the party for us.
Here in Lakewood, we have always stood for values — family, community, faith, and unity. And now, we have an incredible opportunity to support a Republican candidate for governor who represents those very same values. Someone who believes in moral clarity, family structure, and the freedom for our community to grow, thrive, and raise our children with dignity.
Over the coming months, expect more noise. More videos. More attempts to pit us against each other and against our own interests. But we will not fall for it.
Lakewood will not be divided.
We speak with one voice. We are one klal. And when the time comes, we will show up, united, to vote for leadership that aligns with our values.

How’s this not adding fuel to the fire?

What’s wrong with that
The Republicans will continue to close our schools, hike up our property taxes, and make oerfectly clear they DON’T CARE!
That is how it has gone so far
I’ve been in Lakewood since ’55 and my true reply would not be suitable for text, but would like to attend a meeting of sorts to debate the subject.
