Rabbi Moshe Rotberg, the rav of K’hal Zichron Yechezkel in Toms River, a noted psychotherapist and the halachic coordinator for Hatzolah of Central Jersey, sent out the following message to his kehilla and beyond in response to the awful tragedy that struck in Lakewood on Tuesday afternoon.

  1. Very sad & such a tragedy. No one knows what this mother has gone through or is going through. Please, no judgements. She must’ve been in a deep psychosis or even a deep post partum psychosis & needs help, not admonishment. Let us pray for her 2 children & for her & her family

  2. So very sad for this family. Who knows what this woman was going thru. May Almighty God have mercy upon her,may her children rest in eternal peace. Please pray for them n their mother.
