The olam hatorah lost a quiet giant with the petirah of Rebbetzin Chava Taplin a”h on Shabbos, who was nifteres at the age of 81.
Rebbetzin Taplin was the wife and enabler of Hagaon Rav Yisroel Taplin shlit”a, a renowned talmid of Rav Aharon Kotler zt”l whose hasmada and ameilus batorah have filled BMG’s batei medrashim for decades.
The levaya is scheduled to be held at 9:30 am Sunday morning at the 7th Street Chapel in Lakewood, 613 Ramsey Avenue, with kevurah to take place in Eretz Yisroel.
The family will be sitting shiva at 283 Albert Avenue in Lakewood.
