Lakewood Zoning Board Approves New Verizon Cell Tower

The Lakewood Zoning Board granted unanimous approval on Monday night to Verizon’s application for the construction of a new cell tower. The proposed site for the wireless communications facility is located at 1364 River Avenue, situated behind the Taubers store building.

In addition to Verizon communications antennas, the tower will be equipped to accommodate antennas for two additional carriers.

With the unanimous approval from the Lakewood Zoning Board, Verizon can proceed with the construction of the new cell tower, aiming to enhance wireless connectivity and communication capabilities in the area, which has suffered in recent years.
