Lakewood Township Moves Ahead with Plans for New Hatzolah Building

Lakewood Township officials have given preliminary approval to a plan that would see the construction of a new Central Jersey Hatzolah building and a new solid waste transfer station near the Department of Public Works yard off Cedarbridge.

The land upon which Hatzolah would build this new structure was previously sold to the organization by Lakewood Township for the sum of $1.

The solid waste station is expected to be able to handle up to 300 tons of solid waste each day, greatly increasing the township’s capacity to handle waste produced by residents each day.
