Lakewood Township Introduces Book Recycling Drop Box at Public Works Facility

Lakewood Township has launched a new Book Recycling Drop Box at its Resident Drop-Off Center, located at 1 America Avenue, providing residents with a convenient way to recycle unwanted books.

The initiative, overseen by the Department of Public Works, accepts all types of books, including hardcover, paperback, textbooks, and religious books. The program aims to promote environmental sustainability by preventing books from ending up in landfills while encouraging responsible recycling.

Township officials encourage residents to take advantage of the drop box and ensure their used books are properly recycled. For additional details, residents can contact Lakewood Public Works at (732) 905-3405.
