Lakewood Township Committee Approves Nearly $4 Million More In Taxes

The Lakewood Township Committee on Thursday approved an increase of nearly $4 million in taxes on local households – coming out to a more than $550 tax increase for the average household.

Mayor Ray Coles stated that much of the tax increase is due to necessary growth in the township’s police and public works departments.
