Lakewood to Welcome Gedolei Eretz Yisroel on June 17 for Keren Olam Hatorah Campaign

Lakewood is set to host a visit from leading Gedolei Eretz Yisroel on Tuesday, June 17, as part of a fundraising trip organized by Keren Olam Hatorah. The campaign aims to raise support for yeshivos and kollelim in Eretz Yisroel that have been impacted by recent government funding cuts.

The trip, which will begin in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 15, marks the first time that city has been included in the campaign’s itinerary. The delegation is scheduled to arrive in Lakewood two days later.

A complete list of participating gedolim has not yet been finalized. Harav Dov Landau shlit”a has expressed a desire to participate in the trip and has asked the public to daven that he should have the strength to join.

During last year’s Keren Olam Hatorah campaign, Lakewood served as a major stop, with tens of thousands of residents gathering near BMG’s Bais Aharon campus to hear from the visiting gedolim. It has not yet been confirmed whether a similar public asida will take place this year.
