U.S. Senators Bob Menendez and Cory Booker (both D-N.J.) today announced a combined total $8,328,385 in federal funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide public housing authorities (PHAs) with funding to enable more families to obtain stable housing with the Housing Choice Voucher program.
“Many families across New Jersey struggle to make ends meet and find, keep, and maintain a healthy home.” said Sen. Menendez. “We must keep investing in our federal housing programs so that every New Jerseyan has a safe place to call home and raise a family.”
