Lakewood Square Holds Expo For 55+ Residents, Honors Committeemen Lichtenstein, Miller

Lakewood Square, the first state-of-the-art center for 55+ frum local residents, released the following statement celebrating their successful expos at Lake Terrace earlier this week:

This past Tuesday marked a momentous occasion for our community as we celebrated the 3rd anniversary of our beloved “Connections” event. The atmosphere at Lake Terrace was nothing short of joyful, as we welcomed a multitude of happy 55+ adults.

The event featured an enriching expo, boasting over 30 vendors offering invaluable resources and information tailored to the needs of seniors. We were honored to have Commissioner Frank Sedeghi in attendance, who graciously pledged his unwavering support to address the needs of Lakewood’s growing retiree community.

In a heartfelt moment, we recognized Committeeman M. Lichtenstein for his tireless advocacy on behalf of our community, especially for our cherished senior population. His dedication has left an indelible mark on countless lives, and we are deeply grateful for his service.

Deputy Mayor Miller was also honored with an award for his steadfast commitment to identifying and establishing crucial services and resources for Lakewood’s retirees. His dedication speaks volumes about his commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our beloved seniors.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Dave Fitzgerald of Ocean Ride for his collaboration and efforts to meet the unique needs of Lakewood’s 55+ community. Additionally, Rabbi Spero delivered an inspiring speech that uplifted our spirits and left us with much food for thought.

Amidst the camaraderie, guests enjoyed a delightful array of delectable food, fostering an atmosphere of warmth and friendship.

Furthermore, the inaugural men’s event, “Illuminating Insights,” was met with great enthusiasm and attendance. Rabbi D. Neustadt, Rabbi C.M. Roth, and Rabbi U. Deutsch delivered insightful presentations on the many halachos that specifically affect the 55+ community, which will be made available on Torah Anytime for those unable to attend.

As we reflect on this memorable occasion, we are filled with gratitude for the unwavering support of our community and look forward to continuing our mission of serving and uplifting Lakewood’s 55+ community.

Thank you vendors
