As Lakewood slept peacefully on Sunday night, a burglar was up to no good. Breaking into multiple vehicles and making off with valuables inside, the thief was just the latest in a growing string of vehicle robberies and thefts in Lakewood.
Thankfully, there were eyes looking out for him.
Members of the Shomrim Night Patrol noticed the suspect breaking into vehicles while on patrol, and quickly alerted the cops. Police officers swiftly responded to the scene and placed the suspect under arrest.
