Lakewood Shomrim on Thursday responded to a local pharmacy after receiving a call about an individual stealing items from the store.
After reviewing camera footage, Shomrim members were able to identify the suspect, who was an employee of the pharmacy, and notified the Lakewood Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit.
The employee was subsequently taken into custody by Lakewood police officers and now faces charges of both Theft and Possession of Narcotics.
