HaGaon HaRav Malkiel Kotler, Rosh Yeshiva of Beth Medrash Govoha in Lakewood, was among a select delegation of leading Rabbonim and Admorim who met with President Donald Trump at the White House on Thursday in a historic gathering ahead of Rosh Hashanah.
HaRav Kotler joined both Satmar Rebbes, the Bobover Rebbe, the Vizhnitzer Rebbe of Monsey, and HaRav Aharon Mendel Twersky, eldest son of the Skverer Rebbe, who represented his father at the meeting.
The Rabbonim met with President Trump in the Oval Office, with HaRav Kotler seated among the senior Torah leaders during the meeting.
The delegation also met with Vice President JD Vance, while Congressman Mike Lawler and Jared Kushner were among those who participated in portions of the White House visit.
The participation of HaRav Kotler carried particular significance for the Lakewood community, with the BMG Rosh Yeshiva representing the world’s largest yeshiva and the broader Lakewood Torah community at the high-level gathering.

wow
It wasn’t “Admorim and Rabbonim”. It was Admorim and one Rosh Yeshiva. A strange shidduch!
While they advocated for “Frum prisoners”, (Rav Schwab would have had a fit over that term) does anyone recall any of these leaders speaking out in their communities in protest of financial fraud.
Should they perhaps spend their time insuring less prisoners in their communities?
