Lakewood Police Officer Officer Gregory Cannon Named Top Cop In Battle Against DWI

The annual Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Awards Breakfast was held on June 13th, recognizing outstanding efforts in DWI enforcement across Ocean County. The event was attended by numerous law enforcement officers and command staff from departments throughout the region.

Lakewood Police Department’s Officer Gregory Cannon was named Top Cop – DWI Ocean County, one of the event’s highest honors, for his exceptional work in impaired driving enforcement.

In addition, three Lakewood officers received the Recognition of Excellence Award Certificate for their continued commitment to public safety:

  • Officer Nicholas Cusanelli
  • Officer Joseph Mandelbaum
  • Officer Richard Uriarte

The awards highlight the officers’ dedication to keeping roads safe and supporting MADD’s mission to eliminate drunk and drugged driving.
