The Lakewood Police Department on Monday morning announced the passing of former Deputy Chief Charles “Chucky” Smith.
“It is with a sad and heavy heart [that we] share the passing of Deputy Chief Charles “Chucky” Smith #180,” the police department said in a statement.
Smith retired from the police force in 2011, following 33 years of service.
