Lakewood Police Dept. Joins One Ocean County in Readying Common Grounds for Summer

The Lakewood Police Department joined One Ocean County at the Common Grounds community garden in building new garden beds, installing irrigation, and cleaning the area in preparation for the summer season.

One Ocean County, an organization led by Toms River resident Tova Herskovitz that works to bridging divides between Ocean County’s various religious and ethnic communities, was joined at the garden by: D.Sgt. J.Shimonovich, CRO Patrick Carney, Ptl. Jason Yahr, SRU Sherry Jones, and Ptl. Kevin Bell, all of the Lakewood Police Department.
