AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
May 9, 2023 – At 8 pm Officer Felix Rivera responded to a stabbing in the area of Joda Dr. Jose De La Luz-Cuate, 19 years old, from Lakewood NJ, was arrested and charged with the following: Aggravated Assault, Possession of weapon/unlawful, Obstruction Admin. of Law. Alejandra Cuate-Hernandez, 42 years old, from Lakewood NJ, was arrested and charged with the following: Hindering Apprehension.

Sgt. Nate Reyes, Sgt. Christopher Dibiase, Officers Christopher Dunphey, Joseph Soriano, Nadine Clarke, Vincent Wittman, and Detective Austin Letts assisted in the investigation.

TRAFFIC STOP
May 1, 2023 – At 11 pm Officer Adam Bylsma conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Cedarbridge Avenue. Victor Ruiz, 18 years old, from Lakewood, NJ was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension, and multiple traffic summons were issued.

Officer Anthony Prisco assisted in the investigation.

LEWDNESS
May 8, 2023 – At 8 pm Officer Leonardo Shimonovich and Officer Justin Burkhardt were in the area of River Avenue assisting a motorist with a disabled vehicle, waiting for Triple AAA. During that time, Officers noticed Jared Johnson, 31 years old, from Lakewood, NJ inappropriately expose himself in public view. Jared Johnson was arrested for the following charges: Lewdness and Obstruction.

Officers Leomaxi Dilone, and Robert Meyer Jr. assisted in the investigation.

WANTED PERSON
May 8, 2023 – At 4:30 pm Officer Leonardo Shimonovich and Officer Justin Burkhardt responded to a disturbance in the area of E. Kennedy Blvd. Officers at the scene were given confirmation for active warrants for Benjamin Kandee, 27 years old, from Lakewood, NJ. Kandee was arrested and transported to Ocean County Jail.

Officers Felix Rivera, and Robert Meyer Jr. assisted in the investigation.
