AGGRAVATED ASSAULT/WEAPON
April 23, 2023 – At 4 pm, Officer Joseph Mandelbaum responded to the area of 2nd Street for an Aggravated Assault. The officer spoke with the victim. The victim was able to avoid being struck by the weapon. Diana Ruiz, 40 years old, from Lakewood NJ, was arrested for and charged with Aggravated Assault; Possession of other weapons; Possession of Weapon/Unlawful with a weapon.
Officers Connor Woods, and Justin Burkhardt assisted in the investigation.
WANTED PERSON
April 21, 2023 – At 2:30 pm, Officer Matthew McAvoy in the area of Main Street recognized Dynasia Olivo, 24 years old, from Forked River, NJ. LPD dispatch confirmed an active warrant for Dynasia Olivo and was arrested. Dynasia Olivo was transported to LPD headquarters, processed and ROR’d pending future court dates.

DWI
April 22, 2023 – At 3:00 am, Officers Nicholas Cusanelli and Jose Rivera observed Verildo Jeronimo-Lopez, 18 years old, from Lakewood, NJ driving recklessly and was arrested and charged with the following: DWI, Reckless Driving, Unlicensed Driver.
Officers Brian Guzman, Ryan Dancey, and Adam Bylsma assisted in the investigation.
