Lakewood Police Department Welcomes Teen Who Suffered Traumatic Brain Injuries

On Sunday, the Lakewood Police Department received a visit from Dawson Palmarini and his Dad Vinnie.

Dawson was involved in a serious crash in Toms River about a year ago and suffered traumatic brain injuries. He and his father now spend their Sundays visiting law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and first aid squads to express appreciation for the work they do.

Their goal is to ultimately visit every police department, fire department, and first aid squad in New Jersey. Dawson collects patches, coins, PBA cards and any other Police related items.

Today they met with Lakewood officers Sergeant Tworkoski, Sergeant Work, Patrolman Renna, Patrolman Gibson, K-9 Officer Conrad along with Mellow, and Patrolman Livingston at police headquarters.
