Lakewood Philanthropists Donate Staggering $14.8 Million To Keren Olam Hatorah

Philanthropists in and around Lakewood pledged to donate a staggering $14,799,200 to Keren Olam Hatorah, the fund formed to support yeshivos and kollelim in Eretz Yisroel.

The pledges were made as six senior roshei yeshiva from Eretz Yisroel visited Lakewood last week on a historic and unprecedented mission to raise $107 million – a figure corresponding to the recent funding cuts from the Israeli government to lomdei torah.

In all, more than $83 million was raised during the roshei yeshiva’s visit, and over the next few days, the initiative is being brought to the wider public, with the aim of raising the remaining funds necessary to keep yeshivos and kollelim running at full force.

Although this phase of the fundraising campaign has not yet officially been launched, donations can already be made by visiting https://www.rayze.it/olamhatorah/
