A patient was extricated from an overturned vehicle following a serious accident at Oak Street and River Avenue in Lakewood late Wednesday afternoon.
Hatzolah, Lakewood firefighters, police, and other emergency agencies responded to the scene to assist the stricken driver. Once extricated, he was transported to the hospital with paramedics.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
