Lakewood Man Chased Victim With A Rock Before Being Arrested

The Lakewood Police Department on Monday released its sort-of weekly blotter, in which it states that a Lakewood resident was arrested after chasing an individual with a rock.
Police said that at 10 pm on the night of July 24, a call for help came in, with the caller stating that they were being pursued by an unidentified man wielding a rock. Officer Jacob Matthews was sent to handle the situation. Kyle Wavershak-Koehler, a 24-year-old resident of Lakewood, NJ, was taken into custody for Disorderly conduct and was sent for a Pess Evaluation at Monmouth Medical Southern Campus. Officers Felix Rivera, Richard Uriarte, Jeffrey Emmons, and Daniel Umlauf assisted in the investigation.
Separately, on the night of July 22,  Officers Christopher Johnson and Anthony Amoroso were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash in the area of River Avenue. Cruz Ramirez-Pastrana, 37, from Lakewood, NJ was arrested for DWI. He was charged with the following: Driving under the influence, Unlicensed Driver, Reckless Driving, and Careless Driving.
Officers Paul McMillan, Kyle Seehausen, and Dawry Desangles assisted in the investigation.
