Lakewood’s emergency services will host a community-wide Fire Prevention Day on Sunday, October 13th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the BlueClaws Stadium parking lot at 2 Stadium Way.
The event, which is free to attend, will feature interactive displays, live demonstrations, educational activities, and games designed to raise awareness about fire safety. Residents will have the chance to meet local firefighters, explore emergency equipment up close, and learn practical steps to protect their families and homes during fire emergencies.

October 13th is MONday not Sunday. Can the event please be pushed back by 1 day to Sunday, October 12, because Monday is already a Jewish holiday, and that means there will not be too many people there? I myself look forward for this event every year and it would really be a big shame if I need to miss it! Please pass on this message to the whoever can take care of this. Thank you very much!
Oh I just realized there’s an event in blueclaws on sunday maybe fire prevention day can be switched to a different date when it’s not by a holiday, such as Sunday October 5th or Thursday October 16?
Can the event get moved to a different day since it’s on a jewish holiday Hoshana Rabba and that means there won’t really be many people there? I myself look forward all year for this event and I will be forced not to attend this year if it’s on the 13th. Please pass on this message to whoever is able to take care of this issue. Thank you very much!
