Lakewood EMS Rescues Injured Dirt Biker From Remote Location

On Sunday, Lakewood EMS responded to a dirt biker with a possible broken leg in a remote location in Lakewood.

Crews located the biker who was off the beaten trail. The patient had an obvious deformity to the lower leg. Crews splinted the injured leg and transferred the patient onto a carrying device where a 6 person crew carried the patient from the trail to the stretcher.

The patient was then transferred to a local hospital.
