Lakewood DPW Announces Double Garbage Pickup Schedule for Next Week

The Lakewood Department of Public Works (DPW) announced that, next week, Lakewood residents will have their trash picked up twice from their homes in order to assist with their pre-Passover/Spring Cleaning activities.

Director Phil Roux explains that residents whose weekly trash pickup is on Monday; and those whose weekly trash pickup is on Wednesday; will have their trash picked up on both Monday, April 7th and Wednesday, April 9th. Residents whose weekly trash pickup is on Tuesday; and those whose weekly trash pickup is on Thursday; will have their trash picked up on both Tuesday April 8th and Thursday, April 10th.

“This time of year, Lakewood Township is committed to enable every resident to clean their homes thoroughly with minimal hassle and maximum peace of mind,” says Deputy Mayor Menashe Miller. “Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our DPW administration and crews, we are able to do so once again this year.”
