Held at Red Square from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event featured contributions from multiple local organizations, offering a range of resources for those in need.
The coalition distributed blankets, sheets, and clothing, ensuring attendees received much-needed supplies for the upcoming colder months. In addition, the initiative “If Not For Grace” offered free showers to provide personal hygiene services to the homeless.
The Ocean County Health Department was on-site to administer free vaccines, helping to safeguard vulnerable individuals against preventable illnesses. Medical personnel from Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus (MMCSC) were also present, giving away clothing to those in need.
A local barber volunteered his time, offering free haircuts, while “Operation Rise,” a program by the New Jersey State Police, distributed literature on substance abuse, providing valuable information about treatment and recovery resources.
