The child, born to Alejandro and Bertha Carpinteiro, was born at 1:54 am on January 1st at Ocean University Medical Center in Brick.
Jersey Shore University Medical Center’s first baby of 2023 was Jewish, also born to Lakewood parents. The little girl was born at 3:38 am and weighed in at 8 pounds and 4 ounces.
Jersey City Medical Center’s first baby of 2023 was also Jewish. Rachel Jungreis was born at 2:17 a.m. weighing 8 pounds, 7 ounces and measuring 19 inches, the hospital announced.
The very first baby born in New Jersey in 2023 is a child named Liana, born at 12:07 am at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Essex County.
