The CRC issued an urgent kashrus bulletin, warning consumers that batches of Pereg Basmati Brown Rice had been found to be infested with bugs.
The affected lots are those with “best by” dates of December 23, 2023, and September 28, 2024.
The CRC said it is monitoring other lots to determine whether a warning is necessary for them as well.
