JUST IN: Lakewood Planning Board Approves New Shul And Yeshiva Buildings

The Lakewood Planning Board this evening approved the construction of two new major structures – a building for Chavrei HaKollel on W. County Line Road and a Shul building for Rabbi Helberg’s shul in Westgate.

The Chavrei HaKollel building will be located at 1600 W. County Line Road and be roughly 20,400 square feet in size spread across 2 floors. The structure will include a bais medrash, classrooms, a conference room, dining room, and recreation room.

Rabbi Helberg’s shul will be a single-story structure on Hillside Blvd. with a little under 4,500 square feet in size, and will include a bais medrash, ezras nashim, otzar, and rav’s office.
