Jackson Zoning Officer Jeff Purpuro to Retire After Nearly Two Decades of Service

Jackson Township zoning officer Jeff Purpuro is set to retire on January 20, concluding nearly 20 years of service in the role.

During his time as zoning officer, Purpuro was responsible for overseeing zoning compliance and reviewing development applications, playing a key role in shaping land use decisions across the township during a period of significant growth and change.

Township officials have not yet announced who will succeed Purpuro or whether an interim zoning officer will be appointed ahead of his departure. No timeline was provided for naming a replacement.
