Jackson Township will host its second public hearing to discuss the ongoing ten-year review of its Master Plan. The meeting will be held on Monday, May 20th at 5:30 pm before the regularly scheduled Planning Board meeting.
This week’s hearing will focus on the state mandated climate change and affordable housing elements of the plan. Both reviews are required by state law, according to Councilman Mordechai Burnstein, council liaison to the planning board.
Residents will be able to provide comment on the issue and the hearing will end at 6:15 pm at which point the room will be set up for the the start of the Planning Board meeting.
