Jackson Township Seeking Volunteers For Numerous Advisory Boards and Commissions

The Mayor and Township Council are calling on residents interested in making a difference in their community to volunteer for one of the Township’s advisory boards or commissions. Residents are encouraged to submit a Citizen Leadership Form, available on the Township’s website at www.jacksontwpnj.net under the “Forms, Licenses, and Permits” section.

Applicants are requested to complete the entire form and attach a resume if available. Questions regarding the roles and responsibilities of these boards and commissions can be directed to the Mayor’s office by phone at 732-928-1200 ext. 1211 or via email at snovak@jacksontwpnj.net.

The deadline for submission is December 20, 2024, and all applications will be reviewed for consideration.

  • Rent Leveling Board
  • Planning Board
  • Zoning Board
  • Economic Development Commission
  • Citizens Budget Advisory Committee
  • Emergency Medical Services Advisory Board
  • Pathfinders
  • Environmental Commission
  • Historical Commission
  • Multicultural Committee
  • Open Space Advisory Committee
  • Shade Tree Commission

Participation in these groups offers residents an opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of the community while working alongside Township officials and fellow citizens.
