Jackson Township Launches New, User-Friendly Municipal Website

Jackson Township unveiled its newly redesigned municipal website today, offering residents a modern, user-friendly experience with improved accessibility and streamlined navigation.

The launch marks the latest step in the township’s digital modernization effort, aimed at making local government services easier to access and more efficient for residents.

“Christian David did an outstanding job on this project,” said Mayor Jennifer L. Kuhn. “The new site looks wonderful and is so much easier to use.”

Council President Mordechai Burnstein called the redesign long overdue, noting that it finally brings the township’s online presence up to modern standards.

“Mr. David has moved us from a dated, hard-to-navigate website to one where everything our residents need is right there on the front page,” Burnstein said. “It’s now simple to find exactly what you’re looking for.”

According to Township IT Manager Christian David, the redesign was guided by both analytics and direct resident feedback. “We utilized advanced technology to identify what users were searching for most and streamlined the layout to prioritize those services,” David explained.

In addition to reorganizing site content, the redesign places a strong emphasis on accessibility and compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
“We updated the site’s design to meet ADA standards by improving visual accessibility, adjusting color schemes, and integrating AudioEye for full ADA compliance,” David said.

The IT team also conducted a comprehensive Google Analytics review to determine which pages residents visited most frequently and added visible shortcuts to those resources.
“We wanted to make the experience more intuitive and visually appealing while ensuring equal access for all,” Burnstein added.

Mayor Kuhn said the launch is part of a larger effort to modernize Jackson’s digital infrastructure.

“Residents can now visit our website and enjoy a better experience finding the services they need,” she said. “Next week, we will also re-launch the Jacksontwpnj.news website, which will serve as a township news and information portal, keeping residents informed about updates, emergencies, and community events.”

Council Vice President Giuseppe Palmeri praised the initiative and the team behind it.
“I’d like to thank Christian and his team for all the hard work they’ve put into making these technology upgrades possible,” Palmeri said. “With a young Council and a young Mayor, it’s only fitting that we continue moving forward into the 21st century. This is truly a step in the right direction.”

Residents can now explore the new and improved municipal website at www.jacksontwpnj.net, where township services, forms, and updates are available with just a few clicks.
