Jackson Township Launches “Meet and Greet” Sessions With Local Elected Leaders

Jackson Township officials have announced the launch of a new community initiative aimed at increasing accessibility and dialogue between residents and local government.

The program will offer residents an informal opportunity to speak directly with township leadership, including Mayor Jennifer Kuhn and members of the Jackson Township Council.

The first session is scheduled for Sunday, January 18, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Jackson Township Town Hall. Residents are invited to stop by without an appointment, enjoy coffee and donuts, and share questions, concerns, or feedback directly with elected officials.

“These sessions are about listening and accessibility,” Kuhn said in a statement. “We want residents to feel welcome to come in, have a conversation, and be heard.”

Township officials said the Meet and Greet sessions could become a regular Sunday event, depending on community participation and interest.

All residents are encouraged to attend, and no advance registration is required.
